On Aug 15th Pack 61 traveled to Municipal Stadium for our annual "Baseball Buddies" program with the San Jose Giants. The kids had a chance to get their baseballs signed by the team, and were able to run out with the players for the national anthem. And everyone had a free hot dog and soda.
It was a perfect summer evening for a game, though the Giants trailed the Stockton Ports through most of it. Finally, at the bottom of the ninth inning the Giants batted in two runs to win the game!
