Pack 61 is buddies with the San Jose Giants
On Aug 15th Pack 61 traveled to Municipal Stadium for our annual "Baseball Buddies" program with the San Jose Giants. The kids had a chance to get their baseballs signed by the team, and were able to run out with the players for the national anthem. And everyone had a free hot dog and soda. It was a perfect summer evening for a game, though the Giants trailed the Stockton Ports through most of it. Finally, at the bottom of the ninth inning the Giants batted in two runs to win the game! |
